Following recent squad updates, we’re delighted to announce an additional coach joining the Wales Eurobowl 2026 squad, alongside the return of two familiar faces to the Wales Home Nations team. Congratulations to all three coaches on their selection. It’s fantastic to see experienced representatives returning to the Welsh setup, and we wish the entire squad the very best as they prepare to represent Wales on the international stage.

I am very proud to be given this chance.. and very aware that I’ve been called up to help makeup the team based entirely upon my form in BB2025. I was fortunate enough to play tennis for Wales when younger and that competitive drive hasn’t left me.. so here goes!
Having played almost exclusively stunties in BB2020 having returned to the game after a 22 year hiatus in 2024 (previously coach name was Clementus) I’ve been bullied, cajoled.. and have really enjoyed playing a wider range of teams (even if that did involve OWA!). I got back into Blood bowl to escape the stress of the day job.. so it’s great to be able to embrace the hobby a little more seriously, though the wife doesn’t quite accept it as medicinal!
Playing the no holds barred aggression Bloodbowl has worked for me well but without the excuse of being stunties for silly losses is meaning I’m now learning off the Welsh team (and others) to be more consistent.. and hopefully sensible!
Somehow for a short amount of time I managed to be towards the top of the BB2025 rankings after a win at this years Welsh Championships and a third place at the Scottish Championships though did keep my promise to play stunties at NAFC so I’ve taken a little dive now!
The teams closest to my heart have always been Gnomes and Halflings but playing at a competitive level (especially in team) has meant I’m now playing and enjoying a wide range of races and am always amazed when players can pick up, pass and even run with the ball at speed!
Poland will be my first time representing Wales at Blood bowl and I look forward to working with the team to get the best result we can.

Prepared my first team over lockdown, and started my first, very short lived, league shortly after. Began my bloodbowl journey with a suarus being sent off before the game began and the eternal question, why do people even play this stupid game?
A few years later and I am firmly here to stay – the allure of introducing plastic fists and boots to opponents faces is far too much to resist.
I have loved being part of the Europen Tîm Cymru in the past and will keep trying to be a part of the Welsh delegation.

I first got into Blood Bowl in 2014, after being pestered to have a game by Paddy McKee (Padster), who also ran our club’s League. After a couple of games, I was hooked. Paddy mentored me for a couple of months, getting me up to speed, so I could join the league at a competent level, I did so with Lizardmen, getting to the final, but unfortunately losing out to a brilliant coach using Dwarfs with a Death Roller and a bribe, which I was totally unprepared for, lessons were learned… I got to the semi-final the year after with Skaven, but fell short. The year after that, I won the League.
No one at the club really played outside of the local area. This was the case until 2018, which is when we started getting information about something called a NAF Blood Bowl Tournament, which was to be held at a local store in Wrexham called 4th Planet. This was mine and Paddy’s first NAF tournament, I went 2/1/1 with Lizardmen, so a good start. Our club ran its first NAF tournament the Year after, called GAUNTLET THROWDOWN. Which to date, is my only Tournament win. I then played NAF tournaments every few months until COVID hit. So I had to get my Blood Bowl fix online using BB2 on my X Box, playing in local tournaments, this gave me my first experiences using Goblins.
After Lockdown, I had my first real experience of the differences with the 2020 rules, at a tournament called, S.T.A.R. Championship IV. I used Lizardmen again, but lost to an Underworld team and a Snotling team, both had Hakflem and Swarming, this was before the nerfs. It was ridiculous. I did end up with the Most Casualties Award with a body count of 26 over the 3 games. This experience and then a dreadful experience at UKTC VII, one game in particular against a Goblin player (my Krox boneheaded 15 times), convinced me to drop the Lizards and embrace the dirty Goblins.
Since then, I’ve been targeting the Stunty Cup, picking up about half a dozen, a couple of them being decent ones, Thrudball 2022 and Home Nations II. I must be doing something right with them, because last year Gavin surprised me by reaching out and asking me if I wanted to join the last Home Nations open team, which I was honoured to do so. Thanks again Gavin.
Locally since Covid and the start of the 2020 rules, I took over the stewardship of the clubs Blood Bowl League and run the clubs NAF tournaments. These have grown at a steady pace, we have a good base of players in North Wales and just over the board, it’s a decent standard, It gives me plenty of competitive and fun table top practice.
I’m looking forward to being part of the Welsh open team again for Home Nations. Hopefully my Goblins have kept their Secret Weapons in order.
